Goddess in the Rock!
Changing earth Her long hair blown back wild!

Laughing teeth are bare.
(Goddess in the wild, wild, child!)
Goddess in the rock,
head thrown back in song,
cameo of sculpted caves.
Goddess in the rock,
long throat edged by lacy waves.
Goddess in the blues!
Waves are all She gains or loses.
Goddess in the jazz. Rain, snow, sun are all She has.
Singing to the sky, asking all the wild winds why,
Goddess in the jazz, Goddess in the blues, Goddess in the rock!
