Kali/Sita (Dark Moon)

Sita journeys to My secret place.

Swooning, She wanes in My embrace,

My fertilizing Dark!

My fingers smudge Her luminous grace.

She never sees My face!

She is Hope's reaching, crescent arc.

As we converge,

I brandish Sita's scimitar of light,

opening the way

for life to emerge.

Waxing, and pregnant with the light,

She slips away without a trace

We are the 'loving couple' of the night:

Om, Yin/Yang,

two sides of One, the Moon,

Goddess, elusive in Our chase,

dancing to Power's changing tune.

(Ignore the demonizing tale of Ram.)

All Harmony, All Mystery I Am!

Death is My fertile root;

the ecstasy of love

writhes underfoot.

Joy is My fruit!

Dark Mirror, Kali-Ma,

see through My face.

I Am Sita! Kali-Chandi,

luminous grace!

Universe spins, seduced,

whirled by My dancing charms.

Listen to My tune!

Dark is the way we're facing.

Before this moment's candle burns,

before the eternal hour-glass turns,

find someone, something

worth embracing,

and do it soon.
